HDFC Bank Q1 Results : Analysis

 

Highlights on HDFC Q1 Results of FY 22 :-

Country's largest private sector lender HDFC Bank on July 17 reported a 16.1 percent year-on-year growth in standalone profit at Rs 7,729.64 crore.

On Quarter on Quarter Basis, HDFC bank reported profit 5% less than previous quarter.

Net interest income, grew by 8.6 percent to Rs 17,009 crore.

Loan growth reported :- 14.4 %.

Retail loans got increased by 9.3%

Core net interest margin of 4.1 percent.

 Deposits, at Rs 13.45 lakh crore grew, by 13.2 percent YoY.

CASA Deposit got increased by 28% ( YoY ) to reach 45%

Capital adequacy ratio jumps from 18.8% to 19.1% from previous quarter.
